Hi, my name is Taylor. I'm a Toronto-based director of photography (DOP), videographer, photographer, and editor. Originally from Halifax, NS, I have a background in opera and musical theatre and performed on the east coast before discovering a passion for film production and photography.
Recent highlights include working with Academy-award nominated director Atom Egoyan on the Canadian Opera Company’s digital production of Bluebeard’s Castle (as DOP) and working as DOP on the COC/Against the Grain Theatre co-production of Mozart’s Requiem. I also filmed and edited Tapestry Opera’s award-winning short film, Where Do I Go?, and was DOP for their digital productions of Ana Sokolović’s Love Songs and Our Song D’Hiver with soprano Mireille Asselin.
I currently work for the Canadian Opera Company (COC) managing their video production. I also freelance with various performing arts organizations across the country.
I've been lucky to work with some incredible clients like the Royal Ontario Museum, New Music Concerts, Against the Grain Theatre, Tapestry Opera, Opera Canada, Opera InReach, Opera Q, Ontario Heritage, the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity and The Royal Conservatory of Music.
I'm available for:
